Mama Grizzly had harsh words for the "one-sided ceasefire" offered to the Obama campaign by the operatives who are advising Mitt Romney, saying they have the "fighting instincts of Mr. Snuffleupagus." Interestingly, the former Alaska governor and 2008 McCain running mate did not specifically endorse Mitt Romney by name, but said she would do all she could for "the GOP nominee" if asked, repeating the familiar "anybody but Obama" refrain. Instead, Gov. Palin said she intends to focus on endorsing and supporting "constitutional conservative" candidates for the U.S. House and Senate.
Asked by Hannity who she would recommend for the second spot on the Republican presidential ticket, she named Rep. Allen West of Florida. She also criticized the national press corps, twice during the interview referring to Obama's "lapdogs in the media." In addition, Gov. Palin commented on Mayor Cory Booker backsliding on his recent criticism of the Obama campaign's tactics and the teacher in North Carolina who told one of her students they could be arrested for criticizing Obama.
