Gov. Palin Call: Sarah Steelman is a fighter

In the final week before Missouri's primary election for the U.S. Senate, GOP candidate Sarah Steelman's campaign is calling voters using a new automated phone message recorded by Sarah Palin, who endorsed Steelman July 17.

Steelman’s team is also airing a 30-second television ad that features Gov. Palin discussing her endorsement of the economist and former Missouri state treasurer. The robocall builds on themes from the TV ad.

"Hello Missouri, this is Governor Sarah Palin. In the U.S. Senate race I support commonsense conservative Sarah Steelman. Sarah is the candidate that Democrats are most scared to run against because they know she’s a fighter. Sarah Steelman has fought against the political establishment her entire career. And in Washington, she’ll fight for all of us. You can count on Sarah to fight in the Senate to stop Washington’s out of control spending and destructive debt. Sarah Steelman will fight to protect life and defend our second amendment rights. On Tuesday, August 7th, join the Steelman surge and send this pro life, commonsense, conservative woman from the show me state to show Washington how to get things done. Thank you. Paid for by Sarah Steelman for U.S. Senate."

  1. Excellent. Excellent. Excellent. I wish I could vote for Sarah Steelman after hearing that. If I was a Missouri resident and that was left on my voice mail, I'd be running to the polls.
