Cross-posted at US for Palin and SarahNETWhen I woke up this morning, I read an article about our current administration’s lies concerning the Benghazi fiasco. It’s obvious by now that that our intelligence agencies and everyone in the White House knew that the attack was a coordinated, well-orchestrated operation meant to humiliate us on the anniversary of 9/11, and it had nothing to do with a lousy movie that only 19 people had bothered to watch on Youtube. The concocted story that was so eloquently orated to us by our Commander in Chief, blew up when our ambassador’s diary revealed that he and others had sent out numerous messages warning of an impending attack.
Why is this such an issue now? Because it undermines everything our military personnel are putting their lives on the line for. When Tyrone Woods disobeyed orders and put his own life on the line to go in and save others at the embassy, as he was intensely trained to do, he should have had the reassurance to know that our jets, with their pinpoint laser-guided missiles and smart technology, would be there to bail him out. Instead, he fought his ass off for seven hours while people in the Situation Room watched it all go down in real time. It reminded me of the new Bourne Identity movie, where when something in government doesn’t go the way it’s planned, great people become expendable. No wonder Tyrone’s father is speaking out! I admire him for saying that he was willing to forgive those that he holds responsible for his son’s death. I don’t know if I’d have the strength to do the same thing.
Ask the soldiers in your own circle how they feel about it....
