The former Alaska governor also told O'Reilly that getting Biden off track during their debate wasn't her goal. The McCain campaign had asked her to memorize a lot of foreign policy details, but she realized that was the wrong strategy because the debate was mostly about the economy.
The governor agreed with O'Reilly that Medicare will be one of the key topics for tonight's debate. She warned that Biden will try to play on emotions while the subject is being discussed. She pointed out that Ryan should stress that a responsible federal budget needs to be in place before Medicare can even be considered and predicted that Biden would skip that part of the discussion.
Gov. Palin said that she enjoyed sparring with Biden and wished that there had been more than just the one vice presidential debate.
