Gov. Palin: Obama ‘seems to have no core convictions’

In an appearance with host Greta Van Susteren on Fox News' "On The Record" Thursday night, Sarah Palin said the president does not seem to have any core convictions:

The first woman to serve as Alaska's governor and first to be the vice presidential nominee of the Republican Party said Obama is taking criticism from many on the left because he could not defend his own "failed policies" during Wednesday night's presidential debate with Mitt Romney. She quipped that one reason the president performed so poorly was that he didn't have a teleprompter to use. Governor Palin expressed hope that the debate would open the eyes of many of those who gave Obama the benefit of the doubt, but were deceived by a "complicit media."

The Tea Party favorite said she hoped that in next week's vice presidential debate, Paul Ryan would go after Joe Biden for more than thirty years of opposing American energy independence. Her advice for Ryan? He should "watch his back," a reference to paid campaign consultants such as some employed by the McCain campaign who betrayed her in 2008.
